Fight Times Going Strong

Thank you to the many thousands of new readers each month and to the return readers that keep coming back every issue.

The compliments received have made us all at Fight Times and the Todd Group feel very pleased and satisfied with what we have achieved so far.

The main comments are that we focus on subjects that are fundamental in training and combat.

We are not a super star publication and while we have a definite focus on military combative material we also have a wide and varied content list in every issue.

Readers seem to love the meat and potatoes aspects of Fight Times that are not heavily bogged down with advertising.

Many close combat readers say they like the detailed nature of the combative articles and the calibre of experts that write them.

Many say they have been sceptical of some of the hand-to-hand material out there especially where the writers never produce their credentials but Fight Times has highly qualified experts writing which makes it so credible.

Fight Times was well aware of the online forum type content that was in many cases nothing more than individuals personal opinions of whom many had never even passed a basic exponents hand to hand combat course. We wanted to publish an open forum on line magazine that was for the serious responsible and the educated type combatant that wanted to read proven content from highly qualified experts.

We also welcome novice contributions and present them honestly and with no innuendo as to high rank or status.

Our policy was simple state the facts as they truly were and if we ever get in wrong make it right.

We are not here to gain anyone that is not genuine and legitimate credibility by association or by providing them with publicity that is anything but true and correct.

We ask them the hard questions when we receive submissions that ring the warning bells in regards to being untrue or could be unclear to readers.

This responsible content policy has attracted a massive serious readership and some very fine and respected contributors in their fields.

Our readers want articles that show the writer has legitimate qualifications and that are interesting and provide information that's real and useful.

We are not in competition with any other publication and are more than happy to promote other publications, as this is our open forum submission policy.

We have become a source of information globally for military close combat and have some of the finest instructors in the world endorsing Fight Times and telling their people that this is a very specialist publication.

We have readers in armed forces all around the world and they congratulate us on a publication that has material from the people they know to be the very best and most respected in the business.

We have our own style of magazine that is down to earth and promotes the positives and is not interested in the negatives or anything that is not credible.

The average combatant time and time again commends us on producing a publication that is easy to read and understand.

They say they are looking for facts not advertising or super stardom content as they are real life exponents instructors and operators that are unlikely to be movie stars or world champions.

They are more interested in real life combat and martial arts and combat sports content that is useful to them in their duties, hobbies or sports.

They are also very respectful and proud people that hold veterans in the highest regard and consider the Record of Service to be a great inclusion.

We are very proud of the Record of Service too and welcome readers to submit stories of their loved ones courage and committment.

Everytime we get requests from readers in regards to new columns and content we get right on to it and their suggestions have seen us include regular columns such as the CQB Q& A and the real life situations and medical subjects columns.

We want to be the best publication we can be and are open to your suggestions and criticism as our readers and contributors are the key to our success.
