PrimeTime Management group LTD can now confirm it will be going ahead with the first ever International fight league.

While we still need some sponsors with the coverage confirmed on Sky1 and their financial support we know we are within reach of the goal.

Debi Purcell well known American MMA fighter will be here to mentor the novice fighters as they take their first steps into MMA. While the more elite fighters will face off for title shots on the final event.

The series is set to be filmed 23-29th April but this date has still to be confirmed.

In the primetime ring that week we will see American and Japanese fighters along side the best NZ and Australia have to offer. For this first series we will be running a novice section this is to build the fighter experience in the Austrlaian region.

Primetime will also be offering a limited number of kickboxing, kyokushin and CSF (grappling) fights. This is where the primetime roots are and we use these styles of fighting to explain how MMA is built from a base knowledge of both stand up and ground skills.

We hope to run individual events for these styles later in the year.

As a promoter I am very excited that this event is being held in NZ as it will provide opportunities for a lot of fighters. The exposure alone will have huge benefits.

It is also very possible the series will also be aired on American and Asian networks.
