I am a lifelong martial artist, holding Shodan rank under Jim Thomas Sensei in USKS (Seieikan) Karate, and Shodan rank under Shodai Gary Dill in Bushido Kempo. I am currently a practicing member of East West Connection Martial Arts & Wellness in Hales Corners, Wisconsin where I am a Kobayashi Shorin Ryu student of Dan Schroeder Sensei.

I am retired from Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) with 21 years of federal service. I served as a technical operations officer with CIA with service in multiple overseas locations. I had occasion to be exposed to multiple martial disciplines during my lengthy CIA career.

Prior to CIA, I was a career law enforcement officer, serving in a variety of capacities that included sergeant, u/c drug task force detective, major crime unit detective and SWAT officer. I am a graduate of the Federal LE Training Ctr (FLETC), Indiana LE Academy, Colorado LE Training Academy and California P.O.S.T. at El Camino College, Torrance, CA.

I am a veteran of the US Navy where I served as a command criminal investigator, and of the Army National Guard where I was an intelligence analyst and counterintelligence special agent at the Hqs of the 38th Infantry Division.

I am a published author with a martial arts fantasy novel on Amazon - “ Legend of the Four Dragons Sword” (paperback).

I am a licensed private detective and digital radio host in Wisconsin, USA.
