Readers, Fight Times has listened to you and has acted on your requests once again. You wanted a free online e-mag and we gave it to you and now you want regular new content on a daily basis and we will deliver.
No more bi-monthly editions where readers are waiting for new content. We will now feature new content on a daily and weekly basis depending on submissions.
We considered going to a monthly release but thought why not go even further to satisfy our readers’ appetite for Fight Times wide and varied content and feature new content as soon as we receive it, edit it, and can get it online.
The new content will be easily identified in the Fight Times index in the Latest Articles section of the index.
We have also completed the user-friendly online submission function that will allow all contributors to submit their own text and pictures online.
Contributors will be able to lay their articles out the way they would like them to appear and submit them.
We will also encourage styles and club headquarters to utilise Fight Times to feature their news, reviews, and results as well as advertising and promotions.
We would consider any expert in their field for having their own column in Fight Times and welcome their enquiries.
These new changes and services will make Fight Times far more efficient and will allow contributors far more hands on participation in the presentation of their contributions.
We will always maintain our editing aspect in relation to our policies in regards to responsible publishing and may need to change some submission layouts where necessary but that will be the extent of our interference with on line submissions.
We encourage constructive criticism and are open to any realistic suggestions that will enhance and make Fight Times a better read.
The old saying you can lead a horse to water but can’t make it drink is very true for many styles, systems, and clubs and to see them missing out on Fight Times massive audience is at times frustrating but as the other old saying goes there is no point in flogging a dead horse and the focus for us is on those that are motivated and recognise the potential of Fight Times and the advantages we can provide.
Technology has enabled us to truly become a global publication and we intend to take advantage of any new technological advantages that are available to provide the best possible publication we can.
