New Zealand's most talked about professional wrestling event in decades is just six weeks away!
The NZPWI Invitational takes place on Saturday, August 12 with talent from four different professional wrestling promotions ready to make their way to the Lynfield YMCA for the groundbreaking event.
"There's still a hell of a lot of work to be done behind the scenes, but things are very much on track towards what will be an incredible night's action.", NZPWI Editor Dion McCracken said recently.
"I've been very happy with ticket sales, and we're definitely on track to selling out the YMCA. We'll be stepping up advertising and media in the next couple of weeks, with several newspapers about to report on the show, full colour ads to appear in the Sunday News and 400 posters tacked up around the Auckland CBD – we're also looking into possible TV appearances."
"If people are planning on buying tickets, I recommend getting them right now. Once we blow this thing open publicly, tickets could potentially disappear very quickly. We want hundreds of new fans at the event, but it'd be a shame for those fans who have supported New Zealand wrestling for all of these years to miss out. Go buy your tickets, people!", McCracken urged.
