On the afternoon of December 19, 2005 a group of 17 models from Australia, Lebanon, Brazil, USA and Indonesia arrived in Pattaya, Thailand. The models were on a promotional tour for the Fashion TV World Model Contest, which will be held in Thailand in 2006. The models stayed for 8 days and had a full and hectic schedule including fashion shows, VIP introductions and various promotional events.

Coordinating both with the Thai Police and the models were a group of 6 International Close Protection Agents. Amongst the International Close Protection Agents was Simon O'Sullivan from New Zealand. Simon is a qualified Hand to Hand Instructor under both the Todd System NZ and Combative Concepts International Thailand. Simon attended the Todd Group Close Protection School in New Zealand and most recently completed the International Bodyguards Association Qualification Course run out of the High Risk Academy in Thailand.

Simon has started training people in the Todd Systems of Close Combat Pattaya Thailand and has a group of 6 Thai and 2 international students. They meet twice a week to train in the Todd Self Defence System.
