WAKO Hosting WFKKO World Titles in New zealand

On the 19th August 2006, WAKO will hold its first ever Oceania Championships in Te Awamutu near hamilton. This event will also host three WFKKO world title fights between Great Britain and New zealand.

Sue Latta of Muay Thai World title fame will fight her first WAKO style kickboxing tournament fighting for the vacant WFKKO world female Superheavyweight title (+75Kg) against Karen Dews the present British Champion.

Wiki Tutaki the present New Zealand WAKO title holder will fight Marty Wilson for the vacant Light Middleweight title and Te Awamutu guy, and National champion Bad Boy Brad johanson will take on the formidable opponent, Marlon Hunt the present 2 x British title holder, who also has a 80% KO rate.

Promoter and WAKO president for New Zealand Rick Dobson will be hosting the WFKKO championships on his WAKO Oceania event on 19th August in Te Awamutu near Hamilton. There will be 12 fights on the night, with 3 National title fights and the three world title fights. The evening kicks off at 5pm with the first fights on at 6pm.
