The New Zealand National Boxing Champs 2011 part 2

The old-timers are telling me that the 2011 Champs were one of the best ever seen. Staged at Lower Hutt Town Hall the competition was fierce with Olympic year coming up in 2012, and all matches were tough and evenly contested. Certainly some of the best I have ever seen in amateur boxing. To get to the London Olympic Games next year the boxers have to win in Canberra next March at Oceania Champs. David Tua and Shane Cameron were both in the audience and both presented trophies. They have lost none of their popularity and were both kept busy signing autographs.
