The Todd Group are instructors to the military including regular forces and special operations as well as police close protection and you.

The Todd Group has an eighty year history of combative excellence and in 1996 begun conducting an annual international course open to visiting exponents from around the world.

It was an immediate success attracting armed forces personnel police security and close protection operators as well some excellent civilian exponents from all over the world.

The course attracts a full muster of exponents and instructors every year and many return down under annually for the intensive experience.

Since that first course we opened to global applicants in 1996 the Todd Group has had over thirty national and international depots established by exponents that have qualified on our courses.

The Todd Group is not a franchise and depot instructors do not pay any percentage of their instructing earnings to the Todd Group.

We simply maintain standards and security as well as conduct the testing phases and are the caretakers of the doctrine and training and management packages.

It’s all about setting and maintaining the highest possible standards and only instructing the best of battle proven.

We have decided on the annual International close combat course March 24 to 29 2008 to conduct a lottery for 5 positions on course free of the course charge for either current or former military personnel or serious mature combative enthusiasts that have a commitment to close combat and want to be the best combatant they can be.

The successful applicants must meet the criteria and have serious commitment to self improvement and promotion with a desire to be an instructor of the Todd Systems in their location.

The Todd Group provides full command and support for all Todd Group depot instructors.

The Todd Group have an eighty year history of providing armed and unarmed combat training to the military as well as defensive tactics to the police and civilian unarmed combat and self protection.

We are doing this not out of necessity to fill slots, as all our courses are full and we have wait lists for national exponents wanting to go on course. The reason we are for the first time offering this lottery system is to assist the many service personnel and civilian enthusiasts that contact us stating they would love to attend but distance and finances hinder them attending.

If you consider yourself inline with what we are looking for and can withstand the intensive and extensive training and testing phases then we welcome your application for one of the five free places on course.

The course is conducted at our HQ and training camp located at Dunedin New Zealand.

There will be no course fee for the successful applicants.

They will only have to pay their airfares and accommodation and meals.

Please include your record of service and any combative training and rank and status information if applicable.

We will then forward you a reply to your application and the mandatory application paper work.

We are not looking for super humans but are looking for individuals that are self motivated, committed and that are realists who can apply themselves under stress and have a high level of willingness to learn and employ their learnt skills under the phase test conditions.

Most importantly we need individuals that respect the chain of command and consider loyalty paramount.
