Close Combat Australian Training Course

September 1st to 3rd and Todd Group Chief Instructor Tank flew into Sydney for a whirlwind instructing visit. Unfortunately over the past 2 years due to capacity schedule committments in Military CQB Tank  has had to postpone Sydney training on several occassions. In fact he came straight off course to Sydney and after a full days business meetings instructed a Phase 2 group on continuation training Friday evening. Saturday all day was Phase 1 entry level training and continuation training with a second Phase 2 course on Saturday evening. All day Sunday was Phase 1 training.

The Todd Group instructor to student ratio of 1 instructor to 14 exponents had to be marginally increased for the Phase 1 training because of the previous postponments and Australian Chief Instructor, Dave Stevens, was on hand to assist Tank to ensure everyone received the required attention. It was pleasing to see so many committed and interested exponents on course drawn from the Australian Todd Group ranks, other fighting systems and the general public.

Post-course we have received practically as many congratulations as exponents on course for conducting this course. We hope to get Tank back late December 2006 or early January 2007 and I know many from Australia have already indicated they will be travelling to New Zealand for the annual international course, March 2007.
